Our mammals investigation continues!  Last week we examined 7 skulls.  We learned that the first two (and real!) skulls belonged to a squirrel and a coyote.  The 5 pictures belong to mystery mammals.  You wrote your initial hypothesis concerning these skulls.  This week we will learn about teeth.  What do mammals eat?  What is an herbivore? An omnivore? A carnivore?

Check out the Skeletons and Skulls page.  There are several opportunities provided to examine teeth and skulls.  Though these skulls may or may not be the same as the 5 in our class (I won't tell you yet!), you can get many clues from studying them.
